Help Equip the Cohasset Ridge PBA — Support Our Equipment Trailer Fund

The Cohasset Ridge Prescribed Burn Association (Cohasset Ridge PBA) is raising funds to build a dedicated Prescribed Fire Equipment Trailer that will provide our community with the tools and equipment needed to safely conduct prescribed burns and support local landowners.

Prescribed fire is one of the most effective tools available for reducing hazardous fuels, improving forest health, restoring fire-adapted landscapes, and helping communities become better prepared for wildfire. But putting good fire on the ground requires more than willing landowners and volunteers—it requires the right equipment.

Our goal is to create a mobile, community-based equipment cache that can be deployed to prescribed burns throughout the Cohasset Ridge area. Funds raised will help purchase and equip the trailer with items such as wildland fire PPE, hand tools, drip torches and ignition equipment, water pumps, hoses and fittings, backpack pumps, radios, weather-monitoring equipment, medical supplies, and other essential prescribed fire gear.

The trailer will help ensure that equipment is organized, maintained, and ready when burn conditions are right. Rather than every participating landowner having to purchase specialized equipment individually, the PBA can maintain shared resources that support community burn projects, hands-on training, and future prescribed fire activities.
